Um got a question? Washers added and bend the heat shield, is that common?

I was a little nervous myself about doing the install, but once you get under there and get going, it's really pretty simple. WD40 is the key, there is also a pretty good video on YouTube that you can use for a reference along with the instructions. You have probably looked at it already, but here is the link if you haven't. Good luck

I found a local shop to do mine. Installed it for $100. He said it was one of the easiest after-market exhaust installs he had ever done. Everything fit. He seemed surprised. Took him 90 minutes. It would take me all day, so $100 well spent.

It's common on 2009-Early 2012 Models. Mine being early 2012, I had to bend the heat shield back so that the Mufflers are not touching/scraping it. Washers were added to level out the exhaust. Not necessary that everyone will have to, but it's common.

Mind if I ask where you had your exhaust installed?
