Dude. Tony.

Nearly 60 orders since I placed mine.

The success of this exhaust system is truly mind blowing. That's nearly a million dollars in revenue.

It's only going to get more incredible as the turbo kits begin to ship.

Congratulations Tony, you've made it. :P

Thanks for the kind words and support. We are very appreciative of the success of all of our products. We know it can only come through top notch customer service and quality! We are truly confident that once end consumers and other shops see the quality, craftsmanship and ease of installation in this TT Kit, it will take off like the exhaust. There is more to come this year. We have a few surprises up our sleeve just for the 370z alone...

Thank you, Tony

Btw, love the "Project Tolerant Spouse" in your sig.

#594 here. It's been 5 months since the install. All I can say is I am not surprised with the volume FI has been pushing. Tony can't make these things fast enough. Had HFC, NR, CF cans. Sound is awesome and has this unique tone to it. The car runs great with these. Almost considered a swap to 18" because of how loud it got inside the cabin for my wife but I stayed commited to my pipes. For those concerned about clearance, the car sits low and I have no issues.

Congrats to the FI team for a great product and all those who had ordered from them.

Is there a difference with the SS mufflers vs the CF mufflers? From pictures it looks like the SS are oval & the CF are round?

Niche79 04-07-2013 10:47 AM

Oh yah, just 7 more exhausts to go! That means more than likely 2 more weeks till mines shipped;) It will come just in time before we fly off for the wife and I's Alaska cruise!

Some weeks it is 5. Other weeks it can be as much as 7-9. It all depends on how many Infiniti or 350z systems are mixed in there. We are constantly working to be as efficient as possible. Always looking to hire more qualified people and expand in hopes to reduce lead times.

Thanks, Tony

The SS and CF mufflers for the 370z (and G37 coupe) are both round. The oval SS mufflers are the standard option for the G37 sedan. Aside from aesthetics, the SS and CF mufflers also have some sound differences. The CF has a more high-pitched "exotic" sound, while the SS has a deeper tone. If you search this thread, you'll find numerous inputs from Fast Intentions themselves, as well as their customers regarding the differences between SS and CF.

Our kit is available. We officially released it back on 3/15. We are running a "presale special" for the first 10 customers to purchase the Complete Kit. The UpRev packages (up to 3 maps) will be included at no extra charge! Right now our list officially stands at 6 people. These people have officially given us a deposit. We are currently in heavy discussions with a half of dozen potential buyers but no other deposits have been received. Below are links to both the thread here on the forum as well as the flyer itself on our website.

370z.com thread: http://www.the370z.com/forced-induct...-kit-here.html

Flyer link: 370zFlyer

Now to answer a question that you will most likely have after looking at the flyer. We are offering 2 ways to currently purchase the kit.

Option #1
A $5,000 non refundable deposit is required at the time your order is placed. The remaining balance will not be due until your kit is either ready to ship out or installed right here in house. As of right now we are about 6-8 weeks out until we are ready to start shipping the kits. Everything is currently in production and we will be performing a few installs in house to ensure a perfect fit before we ship anything out.

Option #2
Our layaway plan. At the time your order is placed we will require a $2,500 non refundable deposit. You are more than welcome to put more down however this is the minimum. From that point moving forward we can split the payments up in an amount that works with your budget. As far as time line I would like to put a soft cap on it of 6-9 months. You are are more than welcome to pay it off earlier with no penalties. In addition, there is no interest to be paid either. Note that since this is layaway, the kit will not ship or be installed until you are ready to pay it off.

I think that this covers it all for now. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to call us directly.

Thank you, Tony

I had reset the code myself to see if it comes back or not. i was away this weekend so im waiting to put some more miles on it to see if it returns. It took 100 or so miles the first time before the SES light came on.

Bodytechz 04-08-2013 09:50 AM

Installed my SS with 18 in res #690 over the weekend and all I can say is WOW! What a huge difference it made over my stock Nismo exhaust, the sound is exactly what I was hoping for. I thought my Nis turned heads before, but with my new FI's everyone looks when I pull away from a stop light! All I wanted to do after it was installed was DRIVE!!!:driving: :happydance:

Hey Tony, this should be your slogan for the exhaust.

"It sounds so good, you'll never want to use your radio again."

I like big butts, and I can not lie

pearl370zster 04-09-2013 11:59 AM

The guy in our mail room at work just informed me I received a large box :happydance:

Now the wait begins till the 4 o'clock quitting time to go home and install! :excited:

Bullit79 04-09-2013 12:26 PM

So speaking of the big butt look, I'm liking the CF over the SS for more of a subtle, sleeper look. But what I read in the thread is the CF has a more high pitch, "exotic" sound compared to the SS. I would prefer a lower tone.

Running it with the 18" resonator vs. the 12" one should give it a lower tone, right? I plan on sticking with stock cats BTW.

12" resonators with CF Cans - Highest Pitch, Most volume
18" resonators with CF Cans - Slightly Higher Pitch, High volume
12" resonators with SS Cans - Slightly Deeper Pitch, Lower volume
18" resonators with SS Cans - Lowest Pitch, Lowest volume

Adding LTH's to any of these combos will also change the pitch and Increase the volume obviously. I find the LTH's make it a hint more aggressive as there are no cats/resonators to worry about pre-CBE. There is a slight hint of rasp to it, nothing obtrusive. But just enough to let others know you have a straight through exhaust.

Chris really summed it up nicely. While the CF cans do give it an aggressive/exotic sound to it, if you pair them with the 18" resonators it is pretty deep for a V6. The sound differences are fairly subtle between the two, and we tell people to make their decision based on aesthetics. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to call me directly.

Thank you, Blake.

Small review on the service and exhaust:

I recently bought a used 18" resonated Cf exhaust off a forum member, and Tony hooked me up with the install in thier shop just this morning.

I was quite surprised that Tony actually did the install himself, i thought he only handles customer service and billing. Not to mention he does a lot of the fabrications and plays a very important role in the entire production, whether it is the FI exhaust system or the developement of their TT kit.

So my hat is off to you Tony, and thank you for the help.

And of course i cant leave Blake out of this, he helped me a lot with my questions and he is very professional and friendly as usual.. Matter of fact, all the staves are. Best of luck on your projects, cant wait to see the finished product.

Anyways, thank you both once again, please dont count me out as a future customer.

Thank you for your review, your positive words are what keeps us striving to raise the bar in our industry! I hope we get to do more business in the future, and that you are loving your Z's new sound.

Felt like Christmas yesterday with it snowing outside as I opened the box after waiting exactly 3 months. As others have stated previously, I was impressed with the way F.I. packages and wraps the exhaust. This exhaust was by far the easiest installation I have ever installed. There was no need to even look at the directions until I noticed the 2 tie wraps and insulation for the fuel line. The whole install took less than 2 hrs including getting the car up on stands and the removal of the stock exhaust. After the install I was so eager to start it up. All I have to say after that first cold start is holy $hit! It sounded amazing! I took a before and after video with my GoPro but unfortunately I removed it from it's shock/waterproof casing without knowing how distorted the the audio would sound without. After driving it around I am very pleased with swapping to the 12" instead of the 18" and going with CF instead of SS. I couldn't imagine it any quieter. The sound is perfect! Thanks F.I. for the high quality exhaust you produce! :tiphat: :driving:

Sorry for the poor quality photos; they were taken with the phone.
