you car is most likely getting the vibration from interior panels, cause of the exhausts creating low bass volume.

At first I did, but it has all but settled down since putting miles on the car. It quieted down really well & I'm completely happy with the non/res CF with stock cats.

:iagree:

How many miles did you put on it before the exhaust settled in and quieted down?

Oh so it's normal I was gonna go get it checked out at a shop

axmea? 02-05-2013 12:09 AM

It is normal especially with panels in the car getting eventually loose as miles build up. It is inevitable. The resonant frequencies for every part in the car varies and with the exhaust, it is exaggerated.

Have fun with it none the less.

henryy370z 02-05-2013 12:28 AM

ohh ok thanks a lot guys i appreciated it, its sooo annoying but ill have to blast music lol, i was about to waste money on a shop for nothing

A great investment is to put some sound proofing in the trunk.. It will help a good amount ! You can do it yourself it's super easy.

Love the sound and how how it looks!!

How do you like it? Im looking to order the same setup as i have the typhoon as well. If you could do it again would you stay with the 18" resonators? Would you consider HFCS or tps?

Sounds awesome! SS or CF?

Amuse370z 02-06-2013 11:42 PM

How much is it shipped to Toronto, no res version?

Would there be any consequences to going to a shop and installing titanium burnt tips?

The CBE with the options you have requested will run you $1,100. That is for the non resonated stainless steel muffler version. As for shipping, please provide me with your full address so that I can get you an accurate quote.

You are more than welcome to send it to me in a pm or direct email if you like.

As for the titanium burnt tips, you would have to physically cut our tips off to make it work. At that point you would void the warranty on the exhaust.

Thanks, Tony

Kabestro 02-10-2013 08:31 AM

So, what would the waiting period be for a new CBE and HFC?

Right now I am quoting 11-13 weeks out to be on the safe side. We are currently shipping anywhere between 10-12 weeks. I only require a $300 deposit when you place your order and the remaining balance when everything is ready to ship.

If you have any further questions or would like to place an order, please do not hesitate to call me directly.

Thank you, Tony

I want to order a F.I exhaust. I was wondering does the exhaust fit with the Evo-R rear diffuser? and would you guys recommend the 12 or the 18 res?

Some say yes, some say no. But those are typically due to the EVOR diffuser not always being the exact same fitment. It might take some finesse to get it to work if it's not a clean fit out of the box.

As for 12/18" res, that's a personal choice you have to make based on whats important to you in terms of volume/tone vs cabin noise.

Welcome fellow PA Z. :tiphat:

I have the Long Tube Headers, paired with the 18" resonators for a good balance. There is some in cabin noise to be expected with any exhaust mod, but with my setup I find that for cruising and normal driving, it's nothing intrusive. But when I want to get on it, she will come to life vividly.

Non-res CBE here and i'm loving it, stock headers and cats for now.
