I am holding out as long as I can before I am forced to change my NR to 18" Res :(.

At the end of the day, lots of combinations available for everyone. Wait time is worth it and makes for an exclusive company.

I too thought that I wanted the car louder then when I went custom non res straight pipes ending with the ARK exhaust with my FI LTH...

Lets just say its so loud and obnoxious that it can wake the dead. It also sounded like arse like a loud fart can civic with lots of rasp.

With LTH, you definately need some type of resonator somewhere to change the tone. I can't wait to get mine.

I want it loud and will experiment by getting her a Bose NC headset and she can take it off if she wants to have a conversation :tiphat:

Holding out as long as I can on switching over to 18.

How many miles on your system? At first I had some resonance vibration (perceived rattle), but after 500 miles or so it's all but gone.

I'm thinking the same as you. I got 12 res with stock cats. Maybe slightly too much sound in cabin for typical female passengers.

I wonder if 18 res with res hfc will somehow produce less sound in cabin.

Won't hurt to try lols.

If you are saying you have an exhaust leak and now a rattle there may be an issue with the install. The system is brand new. If you would like, give me a call this week, we can discuss what it may be.

Thanks, Tony

I am glad that you read the instructions and fixed it. :driving: As for a "little rattle" it might be the infamous "hiss" that you are hearing.

All that being said, I am glad you are enjoying it. Call me if you have any questions.

Thanks, Tony

henryy370z 01-20-2013 07:47 PM

Nah it's not the hiss it's a rattle like the tips hitting my bumper, it happens on cold start ill give you a call tomorrow

#637 Installed a cpl days ago and I'm pretty sure I have never in my life been so excited and happy driving around town just doing simple things like running errands and driving to work! I have had so many more people checking my ride out and it is everything i could have wished for and more! I got the Non-Res CBE with SS cans and Non-Res HFC, also the K&N Filters. I love it and cant wait until the weather gets nicer here so i can clean her up real nice and just cruise with the windows down and some good tunes on. All i need now is a hot girl riding along with me:happydance:

Thanks man. Trust me I think I listened to and watched hundreds of videos while waiting for my exhaust and cats to come and some videos I watched over and over. The wait is def worth it and honestly the three months flew by, seemed like the final week was the longest and the day of the install was probably the longest. I'll always remember the first time starting her up, my heart started racing and I probably had the biggest grin ever! I knew it was on! It just so happened to be like 60 degrees out which is the nicest day we've had in months so of course I drove home with nothing but the sweet sound of my new beast. Hands down, best purchase I've made for any car I've owned and Tony was so helpful any time I had a question. Great products, excellent customer service, and I highly recommend you this exhaust with whatever set up you go with...You'll LOVE it!!!

Thanks for the ease of ordering today, you are very helpful and take the time to make sure your customer is happy with his order! I look forward to having them installed by the end of April or so that way they can sound good all during Z days!

Cant wait to see the updated list as well with my name on it, kinda makes ya feel good being added to such a monster list of happy owners!

Soon to be #702 customer (I think?) haha

Just got mine installed on Saturday (640) - 370Z TDX 18” Res, CF. Summary: WOW!

I had Tony deliver it to a local Midas Muffler Shop in Chicago to have it installed. When I dropped off the car the store manager says that they sometimes have issues with installing these types of exhaust systems. I told him, and another worker, that this is custom made for this car – They weren’t impressed. He stared talking about another system that he installed on a corvette that the owner had them take it off after a few weeks because it was so loud. Then the mgr opened the box and said “it looks like everything is here” and he’ll call me when it’s ready. The system looked impressive when he opened the box. Nice stainless steel tubing and lots of packing.

So when I went back to pick up the car, the mgr and the other worker had big smiles on their face. They take me to the car and the mgr starts it up. He’s looking at me like “how cool is this?” – It did sound great. We go back in the shop and he says – “you know I thought the stock system didn’t sound good at all, this sounds incredible.” The other worker said that he had to take it for a test drive and could not stop smiling while to told me how much he liked it. I got in the car and had a very enjoyable ride home. I have to go home because I have a wedding to go to.

I get home to pick up my wife (she was concerned about me getting this - Noise, cost, etc… was on her mind) but she didn’t say anything about while we head out to the hwy. So we get on the hwy and I start checking it out, my wife says “ I’ll keep a lookout for cops”. I guess she liked it. I asked if she thought it was too loud “No, it’s very nice” she says.

Before I went to bed I thought to myself “how do I feel about this purchase?” The following are my answers.

1. It’s as good, if not better, than what everyone says about F.I. and what I was hoping for – very satisfied.
2. I thought that value of this system was a lot more than what I paid – A great deal.
3. It was truly a pleasure working with Tony on the purchase, production updates and delivery – It was shipped in the timeframe that was given when I ordered it.
4. The looks – The whole system looks top quality. From the pipes, carbon muffler to the great looking tips.
5. Sound – like a $300K sports car should. You can’t get the smile off your face at any RPM.

Yes, I would highly recommend this product and company.

Thanks Tony.

i think he had the issue where one tip is like 1/8" if that further out than the other. it's not even a problem just a easy simple fix with a washer. i personally (being a bit OCD) tweaked mine to perfectly center the exhaust tip in the bumper. it's sad i actually measured to be sure lol thats a bit overkill :ugh2:

Looks sick man...... Man I can't wait.....

I can't wait to hear it rip at the track on the "Juice" with my new slicks and skinnies.

I'm the only member on Guam with LTH and soon the only member with a FI exhaust. I'm also probably the 3rd member or so in the world running nitrous on the car as I only knew of 2 other people prior to me running nitrous before I did it.

2 years strong next month with no issues on N20. Can't wait to rep these Tony!

jlo370z 01-23-2013 08:26 PM

whoooo hoooo just checking my email and notice a ups tracking # in there

#647 is on the way. cant wait!

axmea? 01-23-2013 10:50 PM

I have been here in La Jolla since Monday on a business trip and in a valet only hotel. Each time I end my day and get back to the hotel after work, they each try to get to the car to be the first to drive it down 80 feet.

Each night they would alway say "that car sounds bad a$$".

Thanks Tony and Fast Intentions! The car does sound as described.

Thank you for taking an interest in our products. I will explain below how our ordering process works.

When you place an order all I require is a $300 deposit. This deposit does go towards the entire balance. I do not charge the remaining balance until your exhaust is ready to ship. At the time the order is placed I create an actual invoice for you. Then I will email you a PDF copy of that invoice to keep on file. Now all of my exhaust systems are hand built custom for each customer right here in house. I rarely have anything in stock. Everything is built on a first come first serve basis and right now we are 11-13 weeks out from the time your order is placed until the time it will ship. This may possibly be an over estimate, but I would rather under promise & over deliver. Now the lead time does not start until the order is placed and the invoice is created. Once your exhaust is built and ships I will email you your tracking number.

If you have any further questions or would like to place an order, please do not hesitate to call me directly.

Thank you, Tony

I'm looking for a sound clip of someone with an unresonated, stainless muffler setup.

At least test pipes, but preferably long tubes.

Want to get a feel for what it would sound like.

Thanks!

i have 2 videos on youtube of my non-res tp/cbe setup. 1 is just a start up and revs the other is a 1/4 mile run with windows up. both taken on my iphone so they aren't the best quality for sound but pretty decent still. i also have CF cans so that might throw it off since you want SS cans.

youtube name is same as my forum name.
