Hopefully I can offer some words of wisdom in making your decision easier.

Our Non-Resonated exhaust is our loudest option. It is very exotic sounding and slightly higher pitched. With stock or high flow cats rasp will be very minimal; if any at all.

Our 12" Resonated exhaust is our middle of the road option in terms of sound level. The 12" resonators will smooth out the exhaust note and quiet down the interior noise.

Our 18" Resonated exhaust is our quietest option. This resonator option will cut the most interior noise out as well as give you the smoothest exhaust note. Even though this is our quietest option, it is still a large improvement over the stock exhaust note.

NOTE: The resonators are strictly noise canceling devices and DO NOT hinder the performance of the exhaust system.

I hope this helps, and if you have any other questions please feel free to ask me.

- Kevin
Thanks Kevin! I have the perfect question, since I had the Stillen exhaust I know the note very well. Would the non resonator or 12" resonator be the closest in terms of overall volume? The Stillen was the one I could get away with and not attract too much attention. I don't want to go much louder.

I think the Stillen would be equal and possibly a touch quieter then 18".

If you are concerned with not wanting to attract too much attention I would recommend our 18" resonated exhaust system with polished stainless mufflers. This exhaust option will produce a deep, smooth exhaust note that is still noticeable improvement over the stock exhaust. I had an 18" resonated exhaust system on my own car.

i have the 18" resonated CBE and it is louder than stock, minimal cabin noise (noticable in cabin noise at 2-2300 rpm), and sounds great WOT! i recently installed the RTP and it sounds even better! deeper tone, not much increase in cabin noise during cruising (even on highways at +70 mph), but loud w/cold starts...

Glad to hear, as this is the exact same set-up I have in my basement. Just waiting on my friend's mechanic to have some free time!

I agree. They send you step by step instructions that are decently detailed. From the cats back,it literally took me longer to jack my car up and put it on blocks(no hoist )than to do the exhaust! The cats are a different story. I'm about to go and do them today. Just got to go and get me some extensions and an O2 sensor socket.

I found this on the interweb... Paying for someone to install this is kind of a waste of $$ It's SOOO EASY!!!! Even if you don';t have the tool, go buy them and do it! That way, you have tool to do other thing to your car. There was another video I found way way back where a guy installed it on a lift so the video came out really clear and nice. I just can't find it.

I tried to install it myself but I could not remove a few bolts. I bought a craftsman 1/2" 400tq impact wrench with 6 point impact deep sockets, jack stands, low profile jack, creeper... I spent close to $400 on tools... I ended up return it all and taking it to a shop. I spent about $300 for the exhaust and test pipes installation (at different times) I'm sure it would have been cheaper if I had it installed all at once. If you don't want to stress out about stripping bolts and time spent on the install I would recommend taking it to a shop... I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up during lunch... stress free

Define stress free? Lol, you have to work for that money... I know being in the Navy is not stress free! Cash isn't very abundant either. Makes me wonder if you were tugging on the welded bolts from the stock system.. My Nismo exhaust had them anyways...

Stress free = no worries... Being in the Navy can be stressful at times but you get to that point in your life where you have to weigh your options... I tried buying the tools to do it myself at home... did not work... I was not going to spend $800 on air tools... I tried taking it to the hobby shop but the wait was insane... at least three hours for a bay... so why stress about money and time when I can drop it off at a reliable shop. it was cheaper than buying the tools and it was faster than waiting on a bay at the hobby shop... stress free

Taking those factory cat bolts out ain't for the faint of heart! I'm 6' 3" 210 lbs and I had a bitch of a time with those bolts. two feet of extensions and a snipe with some wd 40 and I spent about an hour and a half bustin them loose. Not to mention a few scrapes and battered knuckles. Also had to change my ginch when I got home!

I know pulling wrenches aren't for some people. As for myself,I like to be able to say I've done some work to the car myself.

The cat nut's aren't too bad. I got mine with a long snap-on box end 14mm wrench. A shot of PB-Blaster with some tail behind the wrench. LOL Snap-on hand tools feel good to the hands when dealing with stubborn bolts if you have to go manual.
