I do have a question about the CF though. How strong is it and is it easy to repair should you hit something and it cracks or will I be SOL? I'm sure Ill be fine but figured I'd ask anyway since you never know.

Driveshaft on the Z is CF. It's fairly strong for what it does.

Do you still have this exhaust for sale? PM me a quote please.

SS_Firehawk 08-11-2013 01:17 PM

Really guy? Did you have to post the whole thing? You couldn't read the last page or two and see that people are waiting for theirs to be built and delivered? Could have easily helped yourself on this one.

Yeah, just go to your edit options. I'm just flaming you :rofl2:
This is arguably the most popular exhaust and this thread is extremely active.

Drone is definitely subjective and many people have different opinions on this! If drone is a concern I would lean more toward the 12" or 18" resonators. It will give you the best of both worlds by keeping drone and rasp to a minimum however still coming to life very nice when you put your foot into it! :twocents:

I just installed 12'' resonator cf CBE + HFC. To my ears, drone is definitely there when revving. It's pretty silent at cruising speed though. Mine's a DD and I don't mind it, I think my ears just got to used to the stock note which is way too quiet. But if drone is your concern, you might wanna go with 18'' resonators.
