I'm 1054. Hoping to get it before the snow comes and the Z goes in the garage for winter!

I am hating UPS right now. Their trailer was delayed last night and now I won't get my exhaust until Monday. I can't even go pick it up . My husband took off work tomorrow & we had a garage lined up that was loaning us their lift. What a waste!

I have also started to hear a pop pop sound when the revs are dropping. I know it is backfire, but not sure if anything can be done about it. Is it because the air/fuel ration has changed?

Can anyone comment on this please.

hmm. i dont think i've ever noticed that, i have same set up as you (+ res HFC). Ill listen to it when I leave work today. It sounds like it might be a normal thing. i'm closing in on a year with exhaust and it still sounds amazing with zero issues

It's a very quite sound, almost sounds like you are running over a seam in the asphalt or cement.

Fast Intentions, Inc.'s Newest Member

Hello Everyone! I wanted to take some time to introduce myself. My name is Kevin, and I am the newest member of Fast Intentions, Inc.

Even though I am the newest guy on Team Fast Intentions, that does not make me the new when it comes to the Nissan 370z community & the VQ37VHR motor. I started out as a customer of Fast Intentions myself many years ago. I bought my TDX exhaust system from them for my 2008 Infiniti G37S coupe, and never imagined back then that I would one day become a part of the team.

Recently, Tony/Danny & I reconnected at a local car show in Woodland Hills, CA. We got to talking about their future business direction; they both have a lot of ideas, and needed some help setting things into action. After about 2 months of discussion, Tony/Danny & I came up with a plan. Fast Intentions, Inc. has brought me in to assist, and eventually lead a major role in all Sales/Marketing & day-to-day Business Operations.

I'm a true automobile enthusiast, no matter what make or model, but I have always had a soft spot for Nissan/Infiniti, as it was my first project car. I would consider myself well versed when it comes to the Nissan 370z & the VQ37VHR motor.

I am very excited to be here and look forward to being able to provide as much support for you guys/gals as possible. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me directly and I will do my best to personally answer.

Thank you,

- Kevin

Welcome Kevin, let's hope you will continue the legacy of the type of customer service we are used to with FI.

And feel free to start by commenting on my question above. :p:icon17:

It's normal, the stock exhaust even does it but it wouldn't be audible from in the car. Bigger exhaust with less restrictions gets you more gurgling between shifts and on deceleration.

I placed an order about a week or so ago!!! FI Cat back exhaust, along with Berk High Flow cat's ( I like how they have mounting brackets welded on), Stillen gen 3 intake.... Pretty excited.....
Wondering if the Z1 intake plenum upgrade is worth using to complete the project???

kentomo280z,

Thank you for your order. No hard feelings on the HFC order, totally understand your logic. As for the Z1 intake plenum, we do not have any experience with it, though, I have heard good things. It is best to track down other independent consumers that have it and get their feedback.

Thanks.

I want to chime in on this one. Are you referring to "The Hiss?" Please elaborate, or better, just give us a call.

Thanks.
