This exhaust makes almost no sound on idle. I get goosebumps whenever i shift :yum: The video is short and not very good quality, it's hard to record and drive. The installer did mention the hanger had to be adjusted, assuming he meant one or maybe both tips were not centered?

This is the same set-up I have! It sounds beautiful!

Has anyone measured exactly how loud, as in decibels, a Fast Intentions TDX cat-back exhaust matched with 18" non-resonated test pipes and long tube headers really is? I'm considering purchasing FI long tube headers to go with my FI cat-back exhaust with 18" non-resonated test pipes but I'm worried about not passing German inspection. Oh, I also have Stillen Gen 3 intakes. And yes, I understand the cost involved as well as the minimal HP gains. Thanks guys.

It is totally worth the wait! It sounds so beautiful...exotic exhaust note to go with the looks of the car. When I installed mine, I had a crowd around me after I started it up to do the leak check, and they were amazed with the craftsmanship.

One bad thing about it...your mileage may go down slightly because it sounds so nice above 3000 RPM. Sweetest sounds upward of 4000 RPM this side of a Ferrari V-12:driving:

Holy wow. Had my exhaust installed and picked the car up today. It is absolutely amazing, best sounding and best engineered exhaust I have ever seen or hear. My engine builder said there was zero adjustment needed and he has installed 100's of systems. Driving in downtown Nashville people were definitely taking notice. Long *** wait but I'm so glad I went with Fast Intentions!

I drove my car today for the first time since June (had my Amuse kit installed), almost wet my pants from the sound. It was almost worth it not to drive it for such a long time, just to experience hearing the exhaust again, as if for the first time.

Still waiting on mine :icon14:

When you get an invoice, there's another order number.

Got my FI exhaust/headers before the Z arrived from Japan. Got it late enough in the year to take it for a spin and then park it for the winter. So a complete FI exhaust/header combo and other goodies c/w new Z sitting in the garage waiting for spring now. :shakes head:

I think I ordered at the wrong time of year lol But at least I have it.

Any updates on which was the latest order to ship?

Just curious if there have been any design changes in the exhaust regarding clearance. Mine is from 2011. Have there been any revisions to increase ground clearance since then? I got coilovers and am a bit low in the rear now after corner balancing and am scraping the canisters more often than when I was just running Swfts. Just curious if the design has changed at all in regards to clearance since my 2011 version before I decide on wether or not to raise my ride height and re-corner balance.

You scrape? From my understanding these have the same clearance as the stock exhaust.

Only because I am pretty low now after getting coilovers and getting corner balanced. I rarely scraped when i was just lowered on Swifts.

There is a version 2 now, which has the same clearance as the lowest point of the car. If you have version 1, then it is ~3/4 inch lower.

I am not 100% sure, but I think the switch was made in 2012.

Installed my catback from FI last Tuesday, very pleased with the sound and look! Super simple as well!
