Can't wait as I have a Boosted Performance Turbo Kit going on along with this install!

Same here with the bp kit. Soon as it stops snowing I can get the car out and get the clutch put in and broke in. Then onto the jackstands wheels and calipers to powder coat and me spending a lot of time under the car lol

Im sorry to hear about the accident, but you're not the first to have this happen.

Give us a call on Monday and we can quote out the cost of a new rear muffler section for you.

it is a tad too loud for me,,,might be better on a manual but auto in certain RPMS drones some and the main point is that my girlfriend of 18 years doesnt like it at all..
i put on a stock Nismo and it is perfect for what i want.

And I ordered non resonated....... Hopefully I'll like it lol. The turbo will quiet it a fair amount I suspect. And if my gf don't like it guess it's time for a new gf who likes it loud and fast ha ha

Is there any difference between the exhausts for auto and manual, or between years? Also, what options besides 18" resonators are on your exhaust - polished tips, what kind of lead pipe, etc.? I assume you have a non-nismo?
PM me with your asking price if you decide to ship.
Thanks.

Thanks Kevin.

cooltoy 03-06-2016 05:58 PM

No difference between auto and manual. The tips are all standard and the only other choice is CF or SS cans.

cooltoy 03-06-2016 06:00 PM

Here is another option for you.

Exhaust help please

So I've decided on going with the Fast Intentions CBE and I see you can either get it in 12, 18, or non resonated . Now I'm lost haha I have a NISMO and dont want to lose any gains. Whats the difference between these setups?? Also which would sound the best?

cooltoy 03-06-2016 10:28 PM

The sound is probably the same, just a the level is different (with non-res being the loudest and 18" being the quietest). Just depends of how loud you want to get.

18" will be louder then you stock Nismo, but not obnoxious loud. 18" is slightly below 80 decibels, which is the "legal" limit in a many places. I have 18". It is very livable on normal commute and is plenty noticeable when you step on it. People know when I pass them or about to.

No-res tends to have a touch of drone at higher rpm's.

Obviously 12" is somewhere in between.

What routine do you guys do on cleaning the exhaust tip. I tried cleaning it with car soap and a rag but I couldn't get the stain out.

cooltoy 03-07-2016 03:51 PM

You need a metal polishing product.

Z-Girl 12 03-07-2016 05:32 PM

Eagle One Never Dull or Mother's mag and aluminum polish.

barncobob 03-07-2016 06:56 PM

nevrdull works excellent,,just don't be smoking around it.

I need a little help, I like to Autocross my Z, it's fun, car is great, driver has lots of old bad habits... back to my problem, I want to add a header and FI exhaust system, but where I autocross at they have a limit of 96DBs max, or no run. Would like to run test pipes too, no emission checking here... so what can be done...

Thanks for the help...

Rusty 03-08-2016 07:05 PM

Spray wheel cleaner inside the tips. Use a sponge to remove the heavy stuff. Rinse off. The easiest way to clean the tips. Then if you want to polish them. Mothers or Flitz metal polish.

I had the exact same brown stains which would not go when I polished by hand using a metal polish.

Now I Use a mothers power ball on a drill
http://www.amazon.com/Mothers-05140-.../dp/B0007RDVD4

You can use either mothers Mag and aluminium polish or even same polish used for paint like meguairs m105

Not to worry, we are not that far out. This is worst case scenario. We are hovering around the 12-14 week mark, which should br much sooner than July.

Thanks

Jordan777er 03-16-2016 01:37 PM

Anyone know what number was delivered most recently? I'm at the end of my shipping window and getting antsy! They say good things come to those who wait though.

GordoNx3o9 03-16-2016 02:17 PM

I'm 1347 and FI charged my card for the remaining balance today. Meaning I should be getting my exhaust by next week! Woohoo!

I was going to make the smart a$$ comment. Just beat me to it. Don't worry because it is worth the wait.

TBatt 03-17-2016 01:12 PM

We are in the 70's here and it is open window driving season. I installed my TDX system in January so I had no idea what the sound was like with the windows open. OMG! You guys are going to LOVE it!!! Good thing that gas prices are down because I'm driving the piss out of my Z. The sound above 4K rpm is addictive! You will fall in love with your Z all over again.

I'm #1284 and survived the wait, barely. If FI was public, I would be buying stock!
