Default cant make up my mind!

hey all

ive searched through this forum + youtube for many hours and i still cant decide between 18" and 12"

i got FI 18" CF + FI non-res HFC on order atm, but im worried once they break in the volume will be too quiet.

since vids arent so good for volume/tone comparisons and i dont know any1 in london wit the setup im basically looking for anyone whos heard both in person.

is there a lot of difference?

ps. iv already emailed tony (awaitin reply) but i need a few more opinions..

If your worried about volume, LTH, TP's, RTP's, resonated cats, HFC's, or ART pipes will do the trick. It will be loud on anything off cruise or idle. The loudest options on the list will be LTH's, TP's, or ART pipes. I haven't heard both in person, but the 12's will definitely be loud. If you plan on keeping that new cat, I might stick with the 18's if you want to tune out some of the rasp. My set up has rasp I'm still working against and I chose Tanabe. Tanabe is on the quieter side and has 18" in resonators.

The only thing I can tell you about the 12" with stock cats is;
1. Highway, normal driving, there is no drone, no rasp.
2. When you get on it, still no drone or rasp, but it is fairly loud (but it is a very nice sound).
3. I will probably get the FI HFC at some point, which will probably make it a little too loud for most people lol.

If I were you I would call Tony and chat with him about it

Hope that helps.
