New Style Takeda Attack Intakes $400 - Got mine!
1 Attachment(s)
Just ordered my new Takeda Attack intakes for the Z a few minutes ago. Auto Anything has them cheaper than anybody with free shipping and they have 2 great discount codes going right now. The 10% off one expires in a few days but the $40 off is good throughout March. And to beat that if you can find it cheaper anywhere else in a years time, send Auto Anything the link and info of the cheaper and they will pay the amount of difference from their advertised price and the competitors.
2009-2012 Nissan 370Z Cold Air Intakes - Takeda TA-3017P - Takeda Air Intake Systems Discount Codes 10% off Orders $300 or More + Free Shipping expires 3-9-12 Code: MARCH1 $40 off Orders $350 or More + Free Shipping expires 3-30-12 Code: SPRING40 So I guess after all the scam bs I went through everything came out terrific. I got scammed for $400 with the used G3's, got my money back, found this deal the same day, and it only cost me $0.95 for brand new Takeda's over the used junk. My total was $400.95 shipped to my house :happydance: Everything happens for a reason... Hit that rep button for finding this killer deal guys... Pretty good for a rookie Z owner  RyanR |
I wish they had pictures of the black powder coated ones.

Nice find! Any reviews on it? The claims they make are reasonable but wondering if its legit still lol
|
You may wanna do a search and see if the g37's intakes come in black and see if you can locate some pics... I think they have been out longer than the Z's. Should give you a good idea since they look so similar.
And I don't think there is any 3rd party reviews of this intake yet... darn near the same design as the stillen's minus the filter and you don't have to cut/grind away anything, heck how bad can they be? Especially at $400 |
Nice find! I am and have been looking for alternative long tube CAI to gen3's I have been wanting to find something like this +1 thanks!
Give us your own review once you have had them on for a week or two! |
yeah how do these compare to the stillen g3's? how does sharing one filter help anything?

I'm in for dyno results. I like that there's no cutting or drilling needed... Also uses a dry filter.

Lol Oh ok. I was about to say. I'm hoping for good results. Heck! I'm just hoping it gets released some time this week so I can hurry up and install it.
|
Well since the intakes haven't shipped yet, I took it on myself to cancel the order.... and reorder them using my 15% off discount. So now I got them for $378 shipped, just wonder when their gonna be released for shipping now.

15hp/16tq, 3hp less for $100 less then the stillen......seems very worth it to me. |
Just when I thought I had my intake stuff figured out... this is looking great!
My only reservation with this is if something happens and this company goes under... what will you do about a replacement filter? Not much to be concerned with for an intake such as K&N or Stillen (freakin autozone has replacement cone filters you can use). Not that I wish anything bad, but I just like to think long-term with my mods. I guess just order a couple replacement filters/cleaning kits or whatnot. That's my only concern because there is no other alternative for filters with this thing unless you find a way to rig another filter onto it or something. In the grand scheme of things, this is likely a very trivial concern. I do like that it uses a dry filter. Filter oil always scares me, but then again, my only rough experience with that was a VW... and that car would throw a check engine light if you sneezed near it. |
Theres not really any reason you couldnt just take 2 standard filters and pop em on the end there. Their filter is just a unique design.

Wait, no bumper removal or engine modifications needed to install the intake? Of so I might have to invest in this.
|
Someone please post some pics and DIY of installation too... Look like another good intake.

in for results |
I'm very interested in this as well...nice looking gains, nice looking price, nice looking intake.
|
I'm pretty sure the front bumper needs to come off to be installed. How else are you supposed to get the filters and piping there? Same install as g3, but WITHOUT the cutting to make the tubes fit....supposedly
|
Yea mine will finally be here today guys... I'll post pics of my install
