Well my Z1 test pipes are non Res. At cold start I peak at 90db... lol... at first it is pretty loud... but it grows on you. Since this will make you basically *straight* pipe you will lose back pressure. I did... so your take off wont be as fast. Your top end will do better though. I'd also suggest a tune. I drag mine every now and then, and plan on tuning next month so I wont run so lean.
Trust me, the growl is amazing. I was at a car wash and turned on... I overheard someone say... "is that a v8?" Hope I helped... enjoy the bad assery! I'll include a few pics of mine
