The manufacturer is doing this everything individual and lets say "handmade". Our original system is a dual line pipe. This one which i have is now a single line with a diameter of 75 cm. The original one has to lines with each arround 52 cm. I dont hope its the diameter and the flow of gas which is causing this issue.

The volume of the 75mm single is slightly larger than the dual 52mm provided there is no choke point.

Thank you guys for your friendly advices!

I will try to do ecu reset with the "everything about timing" method. Will see if there is a change.

Same time i am serious thinking about a oil cooler. Looks like many of you did it already.

Thank you! Tom

Hi to Germany. Hope, that ECU reset will help! Don't know how important it is in NA engine, but if is backpressure in FI (mostly turbo), it could cause some problems. Same issues had many TTs with installed 3" downpipes instead 2,5"

Also, what gasoline you pumped in? It might look pointless, but if the fuel doesn't have good enough anti knock value (RON) it could also increase engine temp! So if you stopped for fuel recently before your issues, it might be caused by it. Know, that fuel in Germany is better than in our postsoviet country, where even Shell has different fuel to same labeled in Germany, but mistakes happen and it could be changed by gas station personal.

BTW: where are you actually from Germany? Want to go to Eibsee (for that Porsche route, which is stunning), or Neuschwanstein. Any recommandation?

I was out on a run tonight for about 15 minutes of on ramps and off ramps. Shifting in the 5k to 6K range. The car hit 240F with ambient air temp of 75F. CNT catback Exhaust and test pipes are on the car now. Looks like an oil cooler is in the budget after the uprev tune.
Not sure if they are related, but I don't remember hitting that temp so fast.

hi, know quality of fuel is a important point with this car but i dont think its connected with the problem i have.

i was living and working in cz for some years so i visit your country from time to time. i take OMV carrera fuel. i dont know how much octane it has but i can tell you, my car was never running faster than after taking this fuel.

right ! it must have something to do with the exhaust.

i had a friend here to check this. he is a former mechanic of zakspeed formula one team. i guy who knows a lot about engines.

he told me, of course the diameter and the design of exhaust systems causing higher temp and of course a different power output - which is not always higher. a wrong system - design can make your car less powerful.

i am really disappointed and thinking to change the exhaust for a different one or go back to oem.

Just make sure it is 98 octane or higher (RON/ROR/ROZ).

What could be aftermarket exhaust is that O2 sensors are reading values, that is causing ECU is trying to enhance A/F ratio and with more too much fuel or too low could cause this.

Dad had same issue 10 years ago on VQ20ER engine. In 25 000kms were catalytic converter burned also with headers and gaskets

If you come to Czech, let me know if you are interested to make CZ/DE 370Z meeting
