Exclamation Need advice on exhaust line mods!!!!

Hi everyone!

I've got my 370z for a couple of months now and I'm ready to start getting some extra hp and torque, I deicided to go for the exhaust line first but I find myself kind of lost now bc I already installed Berk HFC's and don't know what to do next so I have some questions: is there a problem if I go for the Tanabe Y-pipe now? Will it match the Berk HFC's??? What if I deicide to install Berk Test pipes as well?

The thing is I dont want to install an aftermarket CBE until I had upgraded all other exhaust parts.

Oh! btw, with Berk HFC's installed, my car makes this hiss somewhere in the exhaust line, is it normal?

Thanx you guys!

The hiss is normal (if it is when you lift your foot off the throttle).
Full CBE you have plenty of choices, Tanabe, Fast Intentions, Berk, etc. Honestly it comes down to what you like per your sound.

Check these two threads out:
370Z Exhaust Sound Clip data base
the370z.com's Exhaust Quick Reference Guide

Where are you in Texas? Check the Texas section, can always meet up with people and hear different combinations in person which will help.

Yep, the hiss happens when i loose the throtle so that one's clear now haha

The real doubt here is if berk HFC's, tanabe Y-pipe and berk test pipes fit together

HFC & Test pipes are in the same place along the exhaust path.
So you either have HFC or TP.

So both tanabe Y-pipe and berk HFC's can go together in the 370z??? is it a good mod? How would it sound?

I have heard Tanabe in person before but not sure if it had HFC or not. It sounded very nice and clean.
