Intake/Exhaust - Nissan 370Z Forum

give him a break guys, he's pretty much very new to this forum..

but true, you can search around the forum first before you ask this question as exhaust/CBE is a very very popular mod thus you should be able to find TONS of resource in this forum.

anyway, you have to hear it to believe it:

370Z Exhaust.com - Sound clips, photos + places to buy

it takes a while to load the page as there's tons of video on it.

Get the Fast Intentions Catback Exhaust with 12" resonators if you can afford it. Their quality is one of the best on the market.

O-Pipe Exhaust is the best imo.
"You've heard of the Y pipe.. the X pipe.. the H pipe.. nothing can touch the O pipe!!! It provides 100% back pressure feedback on ALL engines!!..."

Reviews: O Pipe (Dual Exhaust) - $125.00 : KaleCoAuto.com, Your home for the rare, unusual, and hard to find auto parts.

I've heard fast intentions in person after installing it and it was surprisingly quiet. I am very glad I went with Motordyne as the quality and sound is much better.

does anyone have any opinions on the stillen cbe? personally i like the sound of it but it seems that it goes a bit unmentioned on the forum. those of you who’ve had it please let me know your experiences with it. i think it would sound pretty gnarly with a set of test pipes in conjunction with the exhaust.

Guys, just pulled the trigger on a Motordyne Shockwave cat-back. Super pumped. Waiting on its arrival. F**k it, its an early Christmas gift to myself. Can't wait to hear this thing whaling like a wild animal.

I crunched my Nismo muffler (don't ask). Fortunately I had my OEM muffler and switched them out. I am looking for a NISMO muffler w/tips to replace it. OR IF ANYONE KNOWS OF AN AFTERMARKET MUFFLER AND TIPS THAT WILL BOLT ONTO THE NISMO CAT-BACK PIPES........PLEASE HELP.

You are looking for short tails. AAM seems to be the popular choice for these.

So I've read through this whole thread and have listened to countless YouTube clips, but I'm hoping someone can give me some input here.

With tax season amidst us, I'm looking to upgrade my exhaust. I've narrowed my options down to:

1) Fast Intentions, Non-resonated CBE
2) Tomei Extreme Ti, single exit with Motordyne XYZ Y-pipe
3) ARK Grip CBE

I'm currently running AAM Resonated Short tails and plan on picking up some Motordyne ART pipes soon. I like the loudness of my current setup, but the drone from the short tails can be unbearable at times (I don't mind, but my passengers do). Out of the 3 options above, what setup do you guys think would fit best with the ART pipes? Feel free to suggest other options, my budget is around $1500.
