It's loud but very raspy especially when I let off the throttle and not deep enough. In the cockpit it sounds amazing but when I roll down the window it sounds like a ricer to me. Gonna delete the resonators and I'll post a sound clip. Should happen by Thursday
Nothing is worth cutting a perfectly good aftermarket exhaust especially HKS. I just don't care because i'm not looking for gains at the moment just sound until I improve the performance for the TP and exhaust kit it was $800 brandnew. If you're hoping to get gains then I wouldn't. As soon as I finish this build I'll be going to FI or Armytrixx

I would wait untill you do HFC's before you chop up your expensinve exhaust. Wait and see what it sounds like with the HFC then make a decision.

It is very possible that it might. What brand do you plan on getting???? Worst comes to worse you can just get the car UpRev tuned and have the CEL tuned out.

I plan on getting Berk's.. But I've done some research and some people have custom made the HFC with good stainless steel material. What do you think of that?

You're referring to test pipes which are a lot different than HFCs.

Also... it is all too easy to cause weird rattles and hisses on this motor as you experiment with the exhaust system.

Wait until after the HFC's.

replace your stock ones with these

AAM Competition 370Z Test Pipes

or if you want more bling then put these instead

(株)パワーハウス・アミューズ - Z34 FAIRLADY Z | PARTS - R1 SPORTS-CAT

sound will definitely improve.
