HELP! CAI Sucked Up Water!

What brand intake? The major question is whether you bent any valves -- water doesn't compress too well...

I guess, he got Injen intake. You are very lucky; you didn't hydrolock your engine.

That has to be the understatement of the day, Jordo!

OP, I worry about this even in cars with stock intakes. The intake on my Mazda3 is right down by the front tire. Although they put baffles in to prevent water from getting sucked up, I still worry. Sounds like the water was in an odd place, and could have happened to anyone. Hope the Z is OK
