Oh I guess I could have posted a little on that:

When I first put on the test pipes I had the NISMO exhaust. Very noticable difference when you clutch in from a stop. The bottom end became very responsive, but it really did seem like a triple beam scale effect. I felt that I had lost some top end and put it on the bottom, not really gaining anything. I didn't confirm this untill I put the cats back on. The car is much smoother now when clutching in and gliding through gears...but slower on the bottom...back to its origianal tune. This loss in top end might have been fixed with a tune in the first place , that is a whole different issue.

So, back to the Exhaust, I can't really tell any noticable difference with the exhuast itself in any RPM range. But again I have changed two key aspects of the car(TP,CBE) so thats that. As far as the sound goes...BOOYAH! I love the sound, I love the no drone, no rasp, light pedal/light sound and WOT notes that...sing! Stillen has been in the game for too long to not expect anything else. I really don't think there would be any physical numbers to show either, the 18hp difference between the Base model and the NISMO I believe is due to the NISMO exaust in the first place, can't get the 18hp gain twice!

Having said that, I really want to get this baby breathing! Fast Intentions long tube headers, CAI, and some other lightening of pullys, flywheel, etc I think would really wake this motor up. Until I figure out this rasp issue I am not willing to do anything else. You have to remove that bottleneck (cats) before adding everything else, if you want to talk about gains concentrate on your VE, that will set you free!
