It seems with any TP it’s a case to case basis on the CEL but form what I hear using steel wool with the extended O2 bung more often than not does not yield a CEL. I would say that you would be perfectly safe with the cheaper ones. I do not personally have the surewin test pipes so I cannot comment on quality. I did compare the Megan pipe to my surewin. They look identical except the Megan has a small little support bracket welded from each pipe where it makes the Y.
