Looks like I need to order this. I don't normally like cheapo parts but it sounds like I've been paying too much in the past for a branded part. I think my stock y-pipe is cracked.....but not certain.

Do you think with these Ypipes and test pipes with the stock exhaust will gett crazy loud, my concern is the noise. Im gettin the ypipe for sure just debatin on testpipes with CEL fix which I really want for the full flow instead of gettin HFC. Even tho HFC are goods aswell but i like the free flow no restrictions

I was tempted to buy the test pipes as well. I have the same fears though. I had test pipes a long time ago, but they were muffled with turbos on a 350z. It still didn't sound great...but not horrible either.

At WOT that does sound fine with me......but rarely am I driving my car at WOT. It's just so tempting.

It will sound like this, you will have rasp at around 2800 rpm, up top it sounds great IMO.

Although I still believe the Tanabe Y pipe has better quality in its construction and collector, I would have never bought it if this thread had existed sooner since some of these no brand Y pipes are great bargains.

I got mine today. Fits good but the one problem is that these nuts and bolts included do NOT match. The threads are way off and the bolts are very loose. I need to go to Lowes tomorrow. I saw this exhaust posted on another site for $180...can't remember if that included shipping. I took plenty of pictures....might post some.

10/4 on the nuts. I had to make a trip to the hardware store also. For $80 I can't complain. The only thing I did not like was the 3 inch outlet. It does not match up with many CBE systems or the stock pipe.

Yeah I got new ones..no big deal. My other issue is that I got a drip at the rear. I think I had it too tight based on torque specs. But even then it still drips. The 3" outlet hole mated with the stock 2.5" inlet isn't working out I don't think. Should I have uses the stock gasket with the 2.5" opening?
