I noticed a fair amount of change in the way the engine sounds above 4krpm; it became much more aggressive and the car felt like it gained a bunch of power at the top end immediately after the install. Installation is pretty straightforward since all you really have to do is remove the front bumper (15 minutes) and then the longest part for me was using a dremel to open the radiator core.

Just to clarify, you have to trim the fresh air vent hole on both sides of the radiator, the DIY will cover this but follow the instructions carefully to avoid damaging the AC line on the driver side.
Ak, did a good DiY that makes it pretty easy.
