I tried ordering Friday and he told me to wait until he knows for sure that they're in stock. Estimating that they would become in stock July 6th or 7th.

Soooo... Would it be generally agreed that if I was to make one, and only one mod to my 370Z, and I had no more than $500 to play with, I should buy these art pipes? Also, does anyone have any comment on the effect of these on MPGs? Slight increase, decrease, the same?

if your looking for more power and a deeper exhaust tone then yes.

If your looking for Pink Hello Kitty stickers then no

Got mine today! Only issue was with the threads in the passenger O2 bung. The OE O2 sensor would not screw in correctly. The tech said its due to the ceramic coating getting into the hole.

I did, after about 2 weeks. Haven't checked into it yet though (guess it's still possible that it could be something else, but we'll see).

Thanks for the heads up. I'll ask the ceramic coater to be more careful on the overspray.

The ART pipes sensor bung, by design, will be very resistant to throwing a CEL.

If you ever do get a CEL, the first thing to check for is an exhaust leak. Exhaust leaks will throw a CEL quickly and easily, but that is also very easy to fix.

If there are no exhaust leaks, CEL's with ART pipes will be extremely rare.

Hi Guys,

Just an update - Please allow the ART pipes to have a break in period. ~1500 miles.

The fiberglass packing material is coated with a varnish like substance. A silicagel spray. It helps to keep the fiberglass from floating around during the packing process. Its the same type of fiberglass and coating that is used in mufflers where it goes through a break in period. This coating goes through 3 phases. 1) fresh from the factory where it is semi-rigid. 2) When it is initially exposed to the water vapor in the exhaust gas the silicagel solidifies the fiberglass to a rigid mass and this lasts for about 1000-1500 miles before it begins to soften back up again. 3) After about 1500 miles the fiberglass begins to soften up again and go back to a soft fluffy fiberglass state again. And this is where it reaches its optimum damping charecteristics.

Through the 3 phase changes you will hear a moderate change in the sound. This is normal. After break in the sound will remain constant and attain a smooth deep burbly rumble.
