Thanks

Hi!
I am 100% new to car mods, and as soon as I save up a few dollars, I plan on buying these. My question is, what happens if the CEL is triggered? Is there any solution to that or will I forever live with it? Also, would these theoretically improve gas mileage, make it worse, or stay the same? Could someone with no experience install these or do they have to be professionally installed?
Thank you!

Check engine lights can always be erased.. Not sure about gas mileage. I'd take it to a professional because our cars have notoriously tight bolts on the cats that tend to break off.

Any word on when I can be expecting an email that I'm able to pay? I'm on the reserve/pre-order list right now.

I do not own a set of motordyne pipes but it sounds like getting the CEL is a rare occurrence that a few people have experienced. If/when it ever happens you can always clear it with a standard OBD-II tool.

There is also the option to completely disable those specific cat efficacy CEL codes with an ECU reflash.
