I know alot of companies sell cat back exhausts and then theres always changing out the muffler but does anyone make a muffled version of a short tail? Maybe aam is on too something with a muffled version that will produce a nice deep tone with NO drone.

Mine only drones from like 1800-2200 rpms...

Have you read the this?
Fancy Tech: How to Get Rid of Exhaust Drone, works great!

the one in the thread. I dunt know if you guys considered about it. wether is a muffled version or not.. I believe there going to be crazy drone..I guess we just have to sit and wait for the response...

I don't see why a muffled short tail version should produce any more drone than any other aftermarket exhaust: the factory resonators in the mid pipes are still in place which would make it comparable to any resonated cat back exhaust. Some people are more sensitive to drone than others though.

That must be interesting living driving around HK with a bright yellow Z! I lived up on the Peak for almost 10 years, the roads around Tai Tam always seemed like they would be nice driving roads.

G37sHKS 01-12-2011 12:29 PM

I think AAM will have good demand if they create a mid pipe for 370z..

because they already have Y pipe and now they had Axle back whats left is mid pipe..
