Wow, and you still have yet to get the one done for the 350Z. Stillen is starting to get on peoples nerves.

INSTALLLED!

As of yesterday! as far as how difficult it was to install i'd say about a 7 out of 10, and that's only because i had to hack into the core support (very minor might i add) in order to get the pipes to fit. but other than that install was very straight forward and took exactly an hour, and that's only because i screwed up on a couple of things and had to go back and correct them....hehe. Anywho performance wise i feel a noticeable pull when the temp of the car is between about 150ish to a bit above 180, but as soon as it goes above 200 it's not as noticeable at all. Now keep in mind this is my butt dyno so i could be completely wrong but oh well i guess we'll have to wait until independent dynos become available. (such as mr. denny who we're all waiting for lol.)

Now that you've got a final product, can you comment officially and more specifically on a couple of points?

(1) On the 370Z, is filter removal basically going to be a matter of removing a panel from the underside of the front of the car? 1. Yes, removal of the fascia would be necessary to gain access to the filters to remove them for cleaning. That being said, K&N recommends cleaning them every 50,000 - 100,000 miles.. so this isn't going to happen a lot. Also, once you remove the fascia once, you'll be able to do it again in a quarter of the time.

2. The support was necessary on the G37 to attach the splash shield, not to support the pipes/filters. They will not be 'clanging around'. Adding weatherstripping will not hurt anything.

Great, thanks for the info. I think this will be my next step, once I get my upper O2 sensors back in and get my car back in town

That's kind of funny, almost a back handed compliment.

Our products are in such high demand that we're struggling to keep up with it. That's great news!!! Thanks!

Seriously though, these things take time and vehicle's. We have been fortunate enough to have access to a long-term G37 test vehicle and we leveraged our strong relationship with NISSAN to get a pre-production vehicle for a few weeks for testing on this intake.

If we had access to an 07+ 350Z we would be able to work on the intakes for those vehicle's as well.

One thing to keep in mind is the extensive testing we do on our products. The Gen. 3 G37 intake took 6 months of R&D work and testing before it was finalized. The Z was obviously faster and easier due to the bulk of the R&D work being done on the G but it still took time. We haven't had access to an 07+ Z for more than a couple of days at a time and that is nowhere near long enough to develop a part.

At the end of the day, I would much rather have people upset with us because we haven't been able to finalize development on a product they want than be irritated at us for ANY other reason...That seems like a pretty good problem to have in my opinion.

Don't worry about, there won't be any problems driving in rain. Once you see it on the car with the bumper off, there's no doubt about it. If you manage to waterlog the air filters on the Stillen kit, you've got much bigger problems
