Plenty of people here have used the k&n filters with no problems. Also you mention the k&n cold air system and not wanting to get a tune; you don't have to. Again there are plenty of people here running k&n intakes as well as other brands without a tune and doing fine. Did you do a search for both k&n products to even read the reviews people gave them? Lots of info out there zpuddmaster likes this.
