I don't know if you'll break 300 without a tune using SAE correction, but you should definitely be in the ball park.

Oh, and 10-12 for high flow filters AND the tubes, is definitely believable.
Yeah i hope to be at 300 + - 5rwhp...kast had about 296 with what i had plus a ypipe...either way i will do a full report with dyno and TQ readings this time.

Default Need some Help

I finally decided to install my HPS tubes today and ran into some problems. The left side tube fit just fine and all hook up great. The right side tube would hook up to the air box and the intake just fine but the alignment of the little plastic box would not line up at all. I could get it hooked up but then it puts a bad kink in the main intake hose. I tired both tubes and same problem on the right side.
Both of my HPS intake tubes are exactly alike. Is there suppose to be a right and a left? The tubes came in separate plastic bags with different part numbers on them, but they are the same. I worked on this project for two hours (most all of that was scratching my head) which should have taken 15 minute for the whole thing. Bottom line is that I didn’t like what I saw so put it all back to stock.

They sent you two left side hoses. The hoses are not identical. When installed, the HPS logo is on the top of both hoses, even though on the left side the logo is hidden under the tower brace. I would definitely call them. They screwed up and should send you the correct pieces with free shipping.

Yes I think you are right. Both hoses have the HPS logo on both side of the hose. (two logo's a tube)

my tubes came with hps logo on both sides too. they need to put the logo on one side, so if the tube is on the correct side the logo will show. I put the tubes on the wrong side then switched and they fit fine. there is a difference in the angle of the crankcase vent fitting. one angle is more acute than the other. if u match them to the stock tubes u will c the difference. hope this helps.

Yes I did match them up to the stock ones. Both HPS tubes look the same as in the pic. the stock one shows the crankcase vent fitting faceing in a down direction and the HPS is facing in a upwards direction.
