I wanted to write a small review now that my tubes have been on the car with the K&N drop ins for about a month. I have noticed 0 gain in hp or sound and maybe about .5 mpg increase in gas mileage. The tubes took about 20min to install. Even though they look the same I could not get them to install correctly at first, they had horrible bends in them. I changed the tubes to opposite sides and then they fit properly, it does seem like a little bit could be trimmed from the tubes however. (I did not trim anything).
So in conclusion they do fit without being trimmed and unfortunately I couldn't detect any difference from stock other than a small mpg boost. However, I am sure they are giving some power increase, even if the butt dyno can't tell, and I do not regret the purchase at all. |
