You should fit the tube on the metal part first then squeeze together the other end of the tube, push it down until it wraps around the plastic intake, then

You should fit the tube on the metal part first then squeeze together the other end of the tube, push it down until it wraps around the plastic intake, then squeeze and pull the rest of the rubber tube until it wraps around the top of the Intake. Not sure if that made sense but I actually didn't think the tube would fit either.
