The K&N Short Intakes that I installed didn't have that extra chamber either.
I wouldn't worry about it.
It might have to do with noise reduction. I think the car is a lot louder when I stomp it. :eekdance:

Nice! Interested in hearing about your impressions as you do more driving. I, too, along with the K&N drop-ins would probably only consider this option as far as intake mods go.

I have takeda intakes and if this feels better, I just might be selling my intake.

I have a similar setup, I went K&N's as well, but I got a good deal on a set of black Cobb tubes so I snatched those up. :tup: The stock intakes are actually pretty maxed out. This is why I couldn't see dropping $400-500 for a full up aftermarket intake... :ugh2:

I'm hoping to get a Dyno done here soon to see how my setup is pre-tuning. :tup:

:tup:+1, just improving on the design a little is really all you need...I got the HPS hoses, and now the AFE dry flow dropins...dont really know where to improve after this.....!?!

where can i order this from ,got k&n drop ins already,looking to order injen intakes but for almost the same gains i can put $$$ on my pocket to save for berk hi-flo cats//these would look on my nismo//////thanks............

How long did it take for you to get them from Corsport? Its been 10 days and I have not gotten mine. It took them like 3 days to ship and the USPS is taking forever:eekdance:
