CBE=lean running.?

Hi Friends,i fitted my HKS Hi-power CBE,i noticed it has less 'soot' on the exhausts tip compare with the stock,is it running 'leaner' with CBE.?Thanks.

Lean means your air/fuel mixture is getting more air. I don't believe the exhaust can cause your car to be lean. If you had installed a cold air intake or a supercharger/turbo, then you willbe running lean. Thus you need to tune. Lean can cause your motor to go "boom".

Anytime you relieve back pressure you will lean the car out. The ECU will adjust and put the A/F back within normal parameters. The CBE by itself will not lean the car out enough to create any issues. Enjoy the exhaust and no need to worry...
