Opinions needed on Intakes

I believe MRworks does them...they have a section at the bottom of the forum. I did my own, and have done a couple other sets, but don't have much time

I did my own, and have done a couple other sets, but don't have much time anymore to be doing them since I have a 3 mo old baby.

To avoid starting a new thread, can somebody point me in the direction of an Injen CAI installation DIY? Thanks in advance.

Cant find one in the DIY section - Stillen Gen 3 is there not Injen unfortunately. Sure I can follow Injens instructions but there are always small details that you learn from individual peoples installations.

The instructions from Injen are excellent. Easier to do than the Gen3, and the Gen3 install was pretty easy.

I know the location of the filters is different but I know there's the issue of the AC lines with the gen3. Little quirks like that is what I'm most interested in.

Stillen and Injen are the way to go.

I went with the black Injen CAI.

Injen intake are fairly easy to install. The instruction has really good clear pictures. For this setup, you need to change the stock windshield water reservoir with the one Injen provided. Because the stock one won't fit with the intake.

I heard for the Stillen one if you dont install it correctly, the intake can damage the ac hose. And you will also need to do some cutting on your car.

The car does sound a little louder from the front. And if you listen closely to the intake you can hear the whooshing. As for the Hp increase, I cant really tell from driving. It feels about the same with the stock intake.
