The armytrix has cutouts that bypass the muffler making the car sound like it has straight pipes. There are some much cheaper QTP brand cutouts you can buy for any exhaust, but my understanding is they have to be lubed up monthly.
Cutouts are different than the product in the OP. The remote controlled valves just close off the exhaust to quiet it down. They are especially useful for people who run loud exhausts on a dB restricted track. Fully open valves sound the same as the normal exhaust without the valves.
