Have you tried talking to Stillen and providing pics for them to analyze what might of gone wrong? Either from a bad install or incorrect parts?

I'd hope that anyone reading this would always contact the manufacturer before making drastic steps such as cutting a bolt-in cat-back exhaust.. that being said, shops aren't always the first ones to call and check with the owner before making such drastic decisions.

Hoping this turns out for the best.. as you can see from another post there are a bunch of very happy people who have installed this exhaust, I hope we can determine the issue quickly and get it resolved..

Stillen exhaust has been installed, and the verdict is...

I think that's how much the stillens tips stick out. It's pretty hard to install a cbe the wrong way. Which shop did the install?

An exhaust is pretty easy to install so any shop can do the job. I installed mine myself but if i need work done I would take it to speedware but there are cheaper shops. I live near 99, around mukilteo.

i've got a better idea. you've already forgotten the name of the shop, now forget about going back there ever again. if they can't handle a simple install like this without butchering it, god help you when they get to more...difficult installations.

It's just an alignment issue due to the installation. The exhaust can be adjusted (ultimate reason is unfortunately each 370Z is a little different, and we provide adjustment abilities in the exhaust to compensate), but the exhaust is not designed to have the tips protruding anywhere near that amount.

Please feel free to give customer service a call at (800) 891-1058 for additional information you can provide your installer.
