Can anybody fabricate custom exhaust tips that will delete the muffler?

mullfer isn't "hacked" off. the pipes bolt on to the rear portion of the mid-pipes...hence you can pop them on and for long trip slap on the stock exhaust within minutes, that's what i do

Gunzero: getting 'mandrel bent' piping for something like this is pointless IMO, its a sound mod not a power mod.

i got quoted 250 for a custom set up like this...too expensive for me tho

It would be expensive, last time I just got 2 Magnaflow exhaust tips, double walled, looked really good. cost me 160. So if you want them to not saw off your muffler and so have the gasket part too i'm guessing 250-300

to get my custom piping it cost me $65 and with tips it came out to $130ish. just recently got hit in the lower left rear so my tip is pushed in, now i will have to go back to the shop and get it fixed

Sucks you aren't here near Chicago. There's this place by me... they'd do it for cheap. But they only have a crush bender... but with what you want to do, you'd be wasting money on mandrel IMO.
