true but its a scanner, code eraser, logger, and tuner w/software and a monitor. And when you start modding cars a monitor, scanner, eraser is a great thing to have.

Plus when new tunes come out if Cobb ever does it, they are free to download and load to the car.

Aslo I got the scanner and the tune for 495. And I downloaded the Cobb valet and no start tunes for free that can now be loaded onto the scanner and then the car.

Right, I know all that. I just didn't want the guy to accidentally get the impression that he could get the actual AP + all the custom tunes for $350 is all. Because then he'd be in for nasty surprise.

I thought Osiris recorded, data logged, etc. for 500 then you pay for your dyno tune if you want to?
So basically Cobb and Uprev offer the same feature(s) just one puts it in a nice little device while the other runs on anything.

I don't think you understand how UpRev works. You can load up to 5 maps with UpRev, and you switch between them via your cruise control button. I have valet and anti-theft maps as well, but I don't have to plug in some device to switch to them. There's no need for a laptop as UpRev's ROM has slots for 5 different maps, at they're always at your fingertips, literally.

If you go to UpRev's site and read up on Osiris, it does all that plus it includes 3 custom e-Tunes.

I thought you were being a little sacastic in that post.

Does anyone have the Osiris here? And did they get good gains?

I will be getting it when I get my tune next month (after LTH), will post a review plus some pictures of the software, etc.

After the ups and downs with uprev, and people getting tuned and some showing good and some showing bad gains, I wonder what if anything have they (meaning all companies) done to get better results?

How was I being sarcastic? Care to elaborate?

It just kinda read that way I guess. Atleast to me. Not mad, it was kinda funny really. I guess I just read between the words.

But this would be a problem, I actively use my cruise control

It does not remove cruise control, it just uses it in a way to allow you to switch between maps, cruise control function(s) still remain.

It doesn't interfere with normal cruise control usage. To switch between maps. you hold down the toggle in the coast/set position, then while keeping the toggle held down, you tap the cancel button the number of times corresponding to the map you want to load. So for instance, I have my anti-theft in slot 3, so I'd tap the cancel button 3 times to load it. The only way I could see this interfering with anything is if you were trying to switch maps while you were actually in motion with the CC on. But you're not supposed to switch maps while in motion anyway.
