I'll be honest with you, i've had a few people see my car and think the exhaust was stock, yeah the tips stick out a bit further, but as far as muffler size and location, it looks completely OEM. I also went to the dealership last night to see when they have some 40th anniversaries coming in and noticed the tips on the NISMO exhaust are WAYY larger.

I guess I mean that in direct comparison with the OEM exhaust, the Stillen looks dramatically different. However, I see your point that someone who has never seen a stock exhaust might think the Stillen was OEM. FI definitely has a 'tuner' look.

I know you didn't and I am not sweating you either. Everyone likes different things thats why it is great to have options. I will not knock Stillen with trash talking. There is no need to, it is unprofessional. It is better to let our system and sales do the talking for us. I feel the best talking is our consumer feedback.

I was just purely stating that our system is much lighter than stock. Now my personal opinion and what I have seen to date is that no other system makes the numbers ours does either. Until I see otherwise, this is what I know!

Thats all...

Thanks, Tony

stillen cbe is like 10 lbs heavier than stock. honestly, stock is already heavy enough. amuse titanium is 20 lbs lighter than stock. but it is so expensive! i would go F.I cf because i remember it is 16 lbs lighter than stock and so much cheaper than amuse!
the robispec single exhaust sheds at least about 40lbs with stock cats and downpipes

Fellas, you're all getting off track a bit, the OP wanted to know which exhausts made the most power and produced the best sound, now power wise, due to the370z.com members independent dyno sheets, the Stillen and FI exhausts produce the most power, its been proven. No one said anything about weight, now sound is subjective, but lets stay on topic please and not turn this into a pissing match about whose exhaust is better mmkay? Now when other members post dyno sheets with their HKS/Greddy/Berk/Invidia, etc. exhausts that make more power than the Stillen/FI exhausts, then the debate will be settled, but until then, fact is, Stillen/FI make the most power.

Default Making that decision

Ok, I've been a domestic muscle care owner for years this is my first import and I have experienced drone, especially under load. FI came out of the hole with a tremendous following but I wonder how much drone exists in the 2,000 to 2,500 rpm range. The majority of your cruising rpms live in this range. I don't plan on using HFC, will I need the resonators, and while X-pipes produce a little more power, H-pipes produce better sound. If I order a system from them next week, how long would I have to wait for it? The stock system is too soft, sound quality is my #1 priority.

None of the systems really suffer from drone, it seems the only ones that do are also coupled with HFC's. With my setup, it had a drone issue at first, but once the exhaust burned in, it quieted alot, and now there is zero drone to speak of. I hear the Invidia is the smoothest sounding, the FI/Stillen have more of a racey sound, and the Nismo is the quietest of the bunch. And i think Tony said that if you got on the list today, from build, to your door, wait is 5 weeks.

I have 2 domestic muscle cars still to this day. That is what I was brought up with and what I love. I have also worked on Z's since they were a 280! You stated that you do not plan on changing the HFC's! I can tell you as long as you stay with the stock cats, our system will not drone. I have installed just about every variation that we sell so I have heard them all.

On a muscle car, H Pipes do produce a better sound but not on these Z's. Trust me, the exhaust note is not as smooth or refined when you build it with an H pipe. The bottom line is if you want quality come to us, we will take care of you. Quality and customer service is more important to us than anything else. We fabricate them in house to ensure every aspect of your investment gets handled correctly! Your system will make great power, sound great look great and fit correctly the first time! I have plenty of options to choose from and am willing to go over them with you. All you have to do is ask.

Please do not hesitate to contact me directly...

Thank you, Tony

Default Decision time

Invidia's system was all over Amazon and E-bay, Shops, distributors, and even small dealers selling for 839 and up. Question will any of the 350Z exhaust products work on the 370Z? there discounting is impressive. 5 weeks is about as long as I could wait, isn't Stillens system more expensive than FI?
