Default Weather Stripping Mod for Injen CAI

Hi Guys,

I recently bought a 2009 370z with the Injen cold air intakes. I've had the same problem as other people in which the MAF and filter gets wet during rain.

Some people have mentioned that the hydroshields kinda work and someone else mentioned that you can put some weather stripping under the hood to prevent water from dripping onto the filters.

Has anybody done the weather stripping mod and have pictures of where to place it? Or a detailed description? I read a thread a while back about this but it didnt have a good enough description for me to do it.

Worst case scenario i just buy the hydroshields but a little bit of weather stripping might be all i need.

Thanks,
Aidan A

Rain will never been an issue. Unless you plan on fording rivers you don't need to do anything special for your CAI.
