NISMO Cat-back Exhaust System

Will a NISMO Cat-back Exhaust System fit on a 2010 370Z Roadster? If yes what does it do for the sound?

From what I understand, it will fit. Several roadster owners discussed it in this thread:
Nismo OEM exhaust compared to aftermarket...

I had an OEM Nismo CBE on my Touring Z for several years. According to Nissan it is responsible for about 50% of the power gains on the Nismo Z, which equates to about 9hp. Although a little throatier then the base exhaust, it doesn't really add much growl. The difference is a little noticeable at start up and under full throttle, but its very tame under normal driving conditions.

Yes, the exhaust will fit, however, the tips will stick out an inch or so further out the back than your stock tips do. You'll notice a slight increase in sound, not that much.

pretty much a stealth mode setup when it comes to sound.

And that can sometimes be a good thing.

Then you should be happy with the Nismo cat back system. When I was looking for a true dual exhaust cat back, I drove a new Nismo. The increased difference in sound in the Nismo was so minimal compared to my car, that I opted to not get that system. I wanted a little more sound than what it provided. I wanted less stealth.

Agreed.

I also got rid if my NISMO system because I wanted a louder exhaust. My FI / Berk set-up is anti-stealth.

There are actually two Nismo exhausts available: S-Tune, and R-Tune. R-Tune is a true dual all the way. It probably is a little louder as a result. For some reason the S-Tune costs more. Neither is the same as the exhaust that comes stock on the Nismo model.

There are actually three maybe four. The standard Nismo exhaust that comes from the factory, the S-Tune, and the R-Tune. There is also a Nismo exhaust offered in the 370 brochure, but no one has been able to give me a definitive answer if that is the same system that comes on the Nismo or not. The system I got was the R-Tune.

There's currently 4:

OEM from the complete Nismo car. H-pipe configuration by Autetech then HKS

Nismo S-Tune. Y-pipe and if I remember correctly the construction is stainless steel, and the pipe diameters make it a questionable upgrade for the money.

Nismo R-Tune. H-pipe setup. 2.5" diameter. Seems likewise to the Nismo OEM setup except for the nicer muffler/silencer section and stainless construction

Nismo Titanium. I don't think we got the full story, but it advertises the "Nismo" fitting as a less expensive package (not that it's inexpensive even then). From the product picture it looks like it therefore just replaces just the mid-pipe and muffler. But it's worth every penny. Car sounds like a V8. You'll run 11's, get 11's in your car, everyone at the Starbucks meet will be dying to know you.

No, R tune is the Stock Nismo, Then the Nismo one you can buy is the S Tune.

I drove a 2020 Nismo to compare the exhaust sound with my stock exhaust. There was hardly any difference in sound. The Nismo they offer as an accessory for $1850 plus installation is not the same as the R-Tune. The R-Tune is a true dual exhaust with an H pipe. It also has two mufflers going across at the rear instead if the one shown in the brochure. The R-Tune is what I have. It sounds much different than the Nismo I drove. The R-Tune is louder and has a much more melodic sound under acceleration.
