Heat soak will be the obvious issue with these. They will sound more aggressive, but will most likely cause you to lose power. Since you're so opposed to removing the front bumper, I would recommend dropping in a set of K&N filters in your stock air boxes and then wrapping them (the boxes) in heat shield.
