Well, the R2C filters are far and away the best filter (dry or otherwise) out there. Designed for desert military use. But the piping is metal and gets real hot.

Well, the R2C filters are far and away the best filter (dry or otherwise) out there. Designed for desert military use.
But the piping is metal and gets real hot. The boxes have a gasket that seal to the hood and do better at insulating the intake air from the engine bay heat better than pretty much every other option out there aside from the stock intake boxes and true cold-air options with filters behind the front bumper.
