Do you think you noticed a benefit from the “race” modified intakes? Been thinking about this, but hate to drop money just modifying the crash bar.

All foam stays in place & keeps filters in that high pressure location. A few people have opted for Fast Intentions crash bar instead. The air guide tray is something that I made to guide air through radiator & up to filters. Hope this helps; as I didn’t just throw together,,,took extra time to ensure everything held secure & functional.

Thanks for the responses everyone. Lack of micron data on the Z1 filters removes them from contention for me.
Back to the drawing board for now. Has anyone successfully installed Stillen g3’s without them touching the ac lines at all? The Takeda longtube could be a good substitute. Has soft elbows over the ac lines and Afe dry filters have great filtration reviews across the interwebs. Last edited by TorqueSteer; 02-17-2019 at 08:56 AM. |
