Muffler Delete

I will share my muffler delete experience. I had my muffler removed and had custom pipes welded in its place. It costed me $150 and took 4 hours to make.

I had my muffler removed and had custom pipes welded in its place. It costed me $150 and took 4 hours to make. The sound is amazing but there is drone and its very bad between the 3.5k rpm to the 4.5k rpm. I usually avoid the drone by upshifting or downshifting. I regretted it the first week but then I realized that the race car sound outweighs the drone so I decided to keep it. To be honest I don't think its loud enough for a cop to pull you over. but cold starts are loud.

fun fact: all z's with any exhaust have that drone in the 3500 range lol

most times it comes down to what you can deal with vs enjoyment as you put it.

most say im weird since my Z is 100% straight piped
