I agree with Chuck's first point. Used parts are not always an issue. Inspect and request photos of the corrected damage. You can always NOT buy the part.

As for the price, $1,000 for a used Motordyne is pretty good, IMO. It is already one of the more expensive exhausts on the market when new (>$1,800) and the used price reflects that.

I went with a used Motordyne for $1,000 several months ago. I did have to order new hardware ($80 for the official v-band clamps) and I am thinking of purchasing new Burnt, rolled tips ($200/pair). This still puts me at less than $1,400 all in.

I am assuming the scrapes are on the muffler off of the y-pipe (as mine). It is possible to crack this open so ask for pics, but cosmetic damage will be UNDER the vehicle.
