What are your thoughts on the Borla Exhaust?

I got the Borla exhaust for my 2016 Z. Wasn't loud enough. So when I got my 2017 Z I went with Magnaflow. Better, but still nowhere near as loud as my Eclipse was. At least I don't set off car alarms any more.

So, were you able to compare exhaust notes in Orlando yesterday? Which was your favorite?

Anyone have a Borla?

Hey, yes I was able to talk to some folks about various exhausts and even found one with a Borla. It seems like most people want to go loud so they usually mention Tomei which is ridiculously loud in my opinion lol, or of course Fast Intentions. Fast Intentions sounds GREAT! But it was confirmed that there was a drone. Motordyne seems to be the most preferred option but if you are talking about an almost $1k difference between Borla and Motordyne.

After hearing the warmed up Borla I must say it is perfect if you don't want a very loud exhaust on your daily but still have a significant growl at higher RPMs. I personally loved it especially because I don't want a drone and don't want something thats ridiculously loud. You can also get aftermarket cats if you want to go louder.

Borla sounds exactly what I'm looking for.
I don't want it loud, can't stand drone, but want a better note at idol, and some noise at WOT.

Did you hear any pops with the Borla during downshifts?
