Coming up on my third year in Austin and can tell you that I have had no problems here with muffler delete, 2.5 inch aftermarket exhaust and my HFCs. (Still very, very loud.)

Also pass inspection without issue. They don't do a sniffer test here just make sure you don't throw codes or clear them before inspection.

Per everyone else's comments No to glass packs and consider HFC vs straight pipe if you are in a county that might be stricter on emissions.
