I'm actually really curious what others will have to say on this. I had a similar problem like yourself and wanted to keep cats in but couldn't find anything that would work. Ill definitely follow this threat to see what people recommend because I'm just as curious as you are.

Go with Berk or Fast Intentions HFC, you cant go wrong with either one. I doubt theres a "Best Match" to your Motordyne CBE. Any of the two will be a good choice.

I went with Berk for both the HFC and CBE and I love the sound, fit and performance gains. To me, I went with them because these two components are made by the same manufacturer and MAY perform better as a matched set.

Just my $.02...

I doubt that matters, I have Fast Intentions CBE paired with Berk HFC and it sounds amazing plus the fitting was spot on.

I too am looking at getting HFCs. Right now my selection is down to Z1 or Berks. My reasoning is because these two have the support brackets which help keep the exhaust from bouncing around. Just my .02C.

AAM, hands-down. They use aircraft-grade stainless steel, thicker walls than the competition, hence, no rasp. And they fit right up to my Berk CBE, no issues.

My Berks fit excellent with my FI exhaust, however the brackets didn't not line with the support bracket. Maybe one of these days I'll modify the support bracket to make it work, but at the moment it's not installed.

I could have made it work, but I would have had to cut apart the bracket and weld some new metal in places. It wasn't as simple as just enlarging holes. The factory cats are pretty heavy and I'm sure needed the extra support, I was less worried about it with the Berks. Still it's on my list of things to do at some point.

I like my FI RHFC. I feel like the exhaust note is more pronounced with resonated and you get less hiss at the end.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be going with the Z1 HFC.

Kroy or anyone else-

I have 18" FI SS CBE. Was there a lot more cabin noise with FI RHFC?

Or just in 3rd or 4th. In 6th at 75 mph it is quiet.

I’m on FI’s RHFC/12”CBE prior to the cats the CBE alone was quite nice (audible level while windows up) after cats a noticeable amplification of sound was apparent. But hey it’s an upgraded exhaust system it’s going to be louder.
