If you really need more space back up on a few boards and you'll have plenty room to remove the stock muffler and put some short tails on

This. Once you have a bolt-on kit, it's undoing some bolts. You'll need a 14mm for the exhaust flanges, and a 12mm for the hangers. No big deal.
