Maybe see if you can find a take-off nismo exhaust for cheap, then slap the short tails on it? The nismo exhaust is worth like 12hp or something, and the AAM tails are pretty stellar if you don't mind the volume.
I'm waiting on my resonated short tails to arrive, and they will go on a nismo exhaust - I can let you know how it goes.
