Is the one your looking at in good shape? Assuming its a V2 system? I think you would be able to find a buyer maybe not right away but within a reasonable amount of time. If your really concerned about that I would just order a new one from F.I.

Woof, $682 for the rear section by itself. That + the cost of the non-nismo and its at or above new cost.

I couldn't remember what it costs but yea at that point your better off going new forsure. I wouldn't let any old muffler shop hack it up like that.

Unfortunately it's going to be a heck of a lot harder to find a used FI (or other CBE) that will fit my nismo the right way. Spending the cash on a clear bra before it gets too chipped up since it's almost my summer dd.

I don't like it myself and will change it. It is about 2.5 to 3 inches tucked in. I already have a shop in mind but have very little time right now to get it done.

ANY reputable shop can modify any exhaust even FI's. Just look at their work and check their materials and welds. You will have to pay more for good quality work and materials.

Find a shop who can mod it or give you options. There is no need for you to spend that much.

I'll see if my local club has any recommendations and can show some work before even thinking about it. Being that I have a 15, used and local up here in MN is almost impossible and it doesn't appear that there are any cheap options (besides washer mod) like an axel back to get my by while I save up.

Be sure to post pics if/when you get this done. Still debating on this, however I think the FI is V1 but not sure so I'm not entirely sure what a fair price would be. Clear bra is being installed right now so that's taking all of my cashflow for the car atm.

There are a couple axel back options for the 15/16 nismos out there... Top Speed, Beluga, J2... all the same manufacturer i believe. I jsut put the Top Speed on my '15 a few weeks ago... New they're like $299 and the sound is pretty amazing for the price. Worth checking out. I'd also checkout the AAM Short Tails...

Axle back exhaust?

Topspeed axleback owners?
